Shopping for September

Lets just start this with: I’m not blown away with any styles we’re seeing this September.  

Why? There’s nothing new. We’re still seeing the fall florals, the microsuede minis and the over-the-knee neutral boots.

That being said, there are a couple things I found for early fall, some clichéd and some not.

The newsboy hat. Of course I had to get one but maybe next they’ll come out with a “newsgirl” cap.

Nothing comming up in that Google search? Try a fisherman or fiddler’s cap as well. 

For fall, I picked a light tan burlap-looking cap.  

Last year I never found that perfect blush microsuede mini. I wanted it on trend but still unique. 

 I finally found it. 

Its a real suede, salmon pink skirt with laser lace and a scalopped hem.

I’m still not sure what I’ll pair with it this month, but later into fall I have an oversized destructed ivory sweater that’ll look great with it.  

As for nail color - I’m starting off with your classic greige but I’m dying over OPI’s GelColor Stay Off The Lawn!! I honestly don’t think this is a new shade but it’s one I’ll def be rocking next.

And and while all the Basic B’s are running to the nearest Starbucks for their PSL, you’ll find me sipping a spiked spiced cider this month.
